301 Leadership Team

“Moving members into ministry should be an ongoing process, not a special emphasis. Your placement process should focus on empowering people, not on filling positions. You’ll have a much higher success rate with those you place in ministry if you focus on the SHAPE of the individual, not the needs of this institution. Remember, ministry is about people, not programs.”
Rick Warren, The Purpose-Driven Church
M-power Defined:
The word “empower” means to energize something or someone. Building upon the foundation of CLASS 101 and 201, the Ministry Leadership Team defines “M-power” as “Energizing Maturing Members for Ministry.”
M-power Passage:
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)

M-power Strategy:
What we do to fulfill our ministry dream and purpose!
The Serving Trail: Your Pathway to Real Significance
The Serving Trail and Ministry Action Planner (MAP) illustrate the big-picture strategy for helping people find their sweet-spot in ministry. The Ministry Leadership Team is established around this simple strategy and design. The programs of each trailhead are directed by a key leader who works in coordination with Lendell Nolan, Pastor of Ministry.

M-Power Mascot:
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
"Therefore we do not lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day."
2 Corinthians 4:16
Let's face it! Everyone gets tired and burned out. Even when you are serving in your sweet-spot of ministry. Part of the goal of the Ministry Leadership Team is to energize maturing members for ministry through recharging their batteries. To help communicate this process of M-Powerment, we have adopted the "Energizer Bunny" as a mascot. Through the inward renewing of the Holy Spirit, maturing members can "Keep Going" in ministry day after day, after day!
